Does Taiwan still require its diplomatic allies to recognize it as the sole legitimate government of "China" ?

Wikipedia is a bit confusing on this point

My understanding is that they do, because to abandon its own One China Policy would be seen as inflammatory.

The R.O.C. constitution, first enacted in 1947 from Nanking, provides that "The territory of the Republic of China according to its existing national boundaries shall not be altered except by resolution of the National Assembly." (as well as containing various references to delegates from Mongolia and Tibet). So Taiwan still constitutionally claims China as its territory.
